My name is Cynthia. I'm a professional photographic artist with a passion for visual expression.

I grew up in a tropical rainforest teeming with life. Every day was an adventure waiting to unfold. I revelled in the enormous diversity displayed in the abundant creation all around me, the brilliant, unexpected colors and amazing light patterns that fell through the trees.

Now, instead of exploring the jungle, my adventure continues with the diversity I observe among people. There's something uniquely special about each and every one of us. I love discovering the special story that makes you uniquely you, and the challenge of reflecting that back to you in my photographs.

I learned the basics of lighting, form and composition long before I learned to work a camera. It is the strength of these foundational art elements that I instinctively rely upon to create striking images that draw the eye and lift the heart -- hopefully, for a long, long time. I want to make images that eloquently speak of the gift of life.
